Nova Partners, Inc., Vance Brown, Inc., Hoover Associates, KRP Architects, and the San Francisco Design Center celebrated the Topping-Out of the Ronald McDonald House at Stanford expansion project on August 6th. Bob McIntire, President and CEO of Nova Partners (Construction Manager), explained the history about the significance of this construction milestone: signing of the last structural member and placing of a tree to honor the trees displaced from construction. Beth Martin, representing the San Francisco Design Center, talked about the pro-bono partnership with almost 50 interior designers who will be furnishing and decorating the various common and guest rooms at no cost to the project. The Ronald McDonald House at Stanford expansion project will support 123 families once completed, making this campus the largest Ronald McDonald House in the world!

By the end of August, Vance Brown had completed the roof framing, completed about 50% of the roofing material installation, commenced installation of the exterior skin (plaster system), and continued MEP rough-in in the interior.
